Care are partnering with others and serving as a catalyst to influence health equity policies and investments in the communities they serve. The aim is encourage other health plans to invest some of their profits to further support under-resourced communities so that everyone has an equitable opportunity to thrive.
Dr. Li will also share his thoughts on why health equity work must not be done in isolation or in an ad hoc manner. He believes progress is more likely if health equity work is done in collaboration with community partners and public agencies.
